MiCOM P991 a single-finger test plug that provides a safe and isolated means solely for the verification of CT circuits.
These test blocks can contain CT shorting contacts.
This means that when inserting and removing the test plug, any connected CT circuits cannot become open circuit and therefore cannot contain a potentially life-threatening high voltage across the open circuit CT contacts.
